Installation Instructions - Chicken Cup Drinker

Remove the Wing Nuts and Waterer Cups

Step 1

Remove the wing nuts and the waterer cups from the pack provided.

You have received 4 cups for installation and 1 spare cup (in case a cup becomes damaged or malfunctions over time).

Insert the Waterer Cups Into the Pre-Drilled Holes

Step 2

Now, using your hand, insert the waterer cups into the pre-drilled holes on the bucket.

Ensure the Washer Is on the Outside of the Bucket

Step 3

Make sure the rubber washer for each cup is positioned on the outside of the bucket.

This creates a proper seal and prevents water from leaking.

Fasten the Wing Nuts

Step 4

Place the wing nuts on the inside of the bucket and tighten them by hand until each cup is securely fixed in place.

They should be tight against the inside of the bucket, but there’s no need to overtighten.

Place the Drinker on a Stand at the Correct Height

Step 5

Place the drinker on a solid stand to make sure the cups dont touch the ground.

We recommend that the top of the cups are level with your smallest chicken's shoulder.

This makes drinking comfortable and ensures access to the entire flock.

Remove the Seal Tab and Fill With Water

Step 6

Open the lid and remove the open seal tab on the edge of the drinker, then fill the drinker with water.

Once the drinker is full, fasten the lid back on securely.

Please note: the lid has a tight seal to keep the water fresh and clean.

Training Your Chickens

Step 7

If this is your chickens’ first time using a waterer cup, they may need a little training.

Simply dip their beak into the cup of water a few times so they understand how it works.

Most chickens learn very quickly!
